A newly built duplex penthouse in West London with a large open-plan living space on the upper floor, offering great city views. The client is an independent businesswoman who wanted the penthouse to serve as a versatile London base. The apartment needed to feel like a welcoming home while also being suitable for entertaining clients and friends. The lower floor rooms were designed to be cosy and personal, using warm colours. The upper floor space, which benefits from plenty of natural light, has a lighter colour scheme to create a peaceful and airy atmosphere.
